Empowerment of women can be
defined as showing their power in social life, being at least as successful as
men in academic life and professional life.
The truth is that women are an integral
part of our lives. A U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that the labor
force of women was almost as much as men or 49 percent in 2015. With this
increase in the number of women, the desire of women to show more activity in
social, academic and business life is also increasing.
Women can do things to strengthen
themselves in social life. The most important of them is to be able to express
themselves effectively in society.
As we all know, women’s volume is
less than men. Therefore, women can adjust the volume to express effectively
their emotions and thoughts. When women join a crowd of friends, they can make
themselves stronger by using an effective volume. As an example, my female
friend who was studying in university could not express herself well among her
friends and felt unhappy, then she signed up to society at her university. This
club was promoting women’s rights to people. Therefore, my friend learned how to
talk. She has gained self-confidence by talking at his university. She is now
able to express herself effectively in every setting without paying attention
to the men and women in society.
Strengthening comes with
education. Education is the most important thing for women’s logical and
emotional development. Women can create jobs for themselves by using the
advantages that education provides. For example, a female student who chooses
civil engineering should know the business conditions very well because almost
all of the people working in the construction field that are men. Instead of
working on a construction site, she can create her own business area thanks to
the developing her ability to draw blueprints. On the other hand, women can get
a job in this business area by getting a better education. They also gain
strength with the increase in their numbers
Risk taking is an important
factor for women to be empower themselves. Women who do not feel successful in
their professional lives start looking for a change and then look for ways to
make it happen. For example, my aunt who works as an accountant in a construction
company, she calculates the financial co-operation of that company with other
companies. One day, my aunt’s boss wanted her to make a business deal. But, she
understood that this agreement would provide no financial benefit. Later, she
took a risk because she confident herself and she made a deal out of her boss’s
wants. When the boss found out that my aunt had made this deal, she got a
promotion as company manager. So, she showed how women can make a difference.
